ML b’day bio for Diana/Casoppia

Well lets see .. anyone who knows me (whether it be on the net or personally), knows I love to laugh as laughter is the best medicine in the world.

I gold pan and hunt for gems in my spare time when I am not working to support my hobbies which also include sewing, crocheting, camping, rock hounding, crafting, quilting, atving. I am a grandma to 3 wonderful angel girls and mom to 2 super wonderful angel girls (yes they are grown up and married to 2 great guys!LOL) and wife to a wonderful man who has put up with me for 36 years. LOL

I live on the western slope of Colorado with my loving wonderful hubbyman, my love of my life.. and I work as an administrative assistant for a trucking company and my hubbyman works for the same company as a line haul driver. We do many things together like camping, in the great outdoors that Colorado has to offer up on the western slope. He hunts and fishes while I read books or crochet ..LOL

Did mention I love to laugh ?? hehehe

ML b’day bio for BritInvLvr/Suzanne

Another year older and hopefully a year wiser. My life is wonderful. My health and those I love are in pretty good standing. I have THE most kind, sweet, loving and giving husband in the world. For those who believe in God, I am blessed. For those who gamble, I am lucky and for those who do neither….I really know how to pick ‘em!

Even though I don’t always play, I love the hosts’ great taste in music. They have expanded my horizons and I am truly grateful Keep up the good work, Gang!

Not living in the USA, I’m not familiar with the contestants, but after having a look at the comments today, it does make me feel better, as now I don’t have to be ashamed anymore of being addicted to the German (which is where I am living) pendant

girls-aloudCheryl got the week off to a start last week with a song by Girls Aloud - Whole Lotta History from their 2005 album “Chemistry”. Girls Aloud apparently won a British Casting Show  in 2002 (I won’t tell you which one, its one of the questions in this weeks mini-trivia), but they certainly aren’t familiar to me. 15 players though correctly identified group and song.

Mini Trivia

On monday, Cheryl presented the girlie group "Girls Aloud". They won a casting show back in 2002. Do you know which talent show this was?

Hil left us the clues for Tuesday and Wednesday and then left town for a couple of days. On tuesday we had a birthday in the house.  It was Paul’s (prprod) birthday. Hope you had a great day Paul!!

Did you know by the way, that you can now send eCards from the Mystery Lyrics Website. I am still building this feature and desperately need graphics from the talented in Lyricland, but already there is a modest choice of cards for various occasions to choose from. (All May birthdays)

Wednesdays floater from Hil was a Nat King Cole tune - If I May, and a day or so later we learnt that Hil’s offering for tuesday was Ivory Joe Hunter - It May Sound Silly.

Which is your favorite from last weeks Mystery Lyrics?

Birthday Bio for Eerxleben/Ed

Thanks for the birthday wishes.  I turned 7 years old this year.  Of course that’s counting from my retirement, when my life really began.
Not much new here.  I enjoy music, mostly ’50’s and ’60’s.  I enjoy Mystery Lyrics and all the other fascinating things the internet has to offer.  I have learned so much from the folks here.  I’m amazed at the knowledge and expertise of the people in the Mystery Lyrics group.
My main interest now is collecting radio surveys from the Chicago area, and Chicago area hit records.  I know everybody is wondering what to get me for my birthday, so here’s a few suggestions for the perfect gift:
1) The WJJD “Forty Top Tunes Of Greater Chicago” survey for June 18, 1956.  The last one I need.
2) The record Be A Lover by the Dana Sisters on Kedlen records.  It appears on a couple of WJJD surveys but I can find no other evidence of its existence.
If you can find either of these, you will not only make my birthday a great one, you’ll be a legend in your own time

Birthday Bio for BREN2S/Brenda

Hey ya’ll,
My name is Brenda and I live down in da swamps of Louisiana.
Music has played an integral role in my life for as far back as
I can remember. I got my very own record player for my sixth
birthday, and the record that came with it was ELVIS……
Hound Dog on one side and Don’t Be Cruel on the flip side.
Thus began my love of rock n roll.
Rarely does a day go by that I don’t listen to music. I love most
kinds of music, blues being my most favorite. Hard classic rock
is next. I’ll be a rocker till the day I die!
I really enjoy Mystery Lyrics. Ya’ll are all such nice people.
I’m proud to be a member and blessed to have ya’ll as friends.
Rock on,
