I have a whole bunch of songs that remind me of the times when I, as a young man, would pop home to England to visit family and friends, but none springs to mind more than this…

This band, made up of a man and a woman had chart success with an awful disco song, “Dancing in the City” at the back end of the 70s, reaching number 3 in the UK and also charting in the USA. Their follow up single, a lovely ballad was much better than their previous hit in my opinion, but didn’t have the same success, barely scraping the British charts at number 39, and failing to hit the US charts at all. The band was short lived, but the members went on to other things and were involved in music for many years to come. Read more
