Birthdays in October

octoberWith your help, your Mystery Lyric hosts would like to make each family member’s birthday a little more special.

What we would like you to do is write up a little personal bio about yourself that you feel comfortable sharing with our Lyrics family. This may include any fun or interesting news that is current in your life; your favorite type of music, artist, group or song; or maybe even a link to a new website you’ve created.

Of course, this is strictly voluntary but would be a fun way to learn a bit more about those who belong to this very special group.

If you have something you would like to share, please send it directly Debi and she will then forward it on to the appropriate host to be included in their mailing on your birthday. It will also be published on this page

  1. I was thinking of skipping this year’s b-day message.. but what the heck… the economy sucks, work sucks, and when i say that “I SUCK” .. no one disagrees with me! I’m planning on putting all my effort and concentration on winning a BIG lottery prize this year… They say money won’t make you happy… but rich and unhappy is much preferable to working-like-a-dog and unhappy ! Actually, I’m very ‘zen’ inside my head these days… and I can’t even remember the days when things would actually get a ‘rise’ out of me… I think it comes from watching the world around me repeat itself.. (it looks innovative to younger people, it’s laugh-ably old to me)… So why fuss over things… now it’s … (to quote Douglas Adams-Hitchhiker’s Guide(…S.E.P. – Somebody Else’s Problem !!!
and if I can make a shameless plug here…
I’d like to make http://www.RIPRenfield.com YOUR problem (and your friend’s problem)… come check me out if you haven’t yet.. it’s a weekly… i rant, rave, and joke… (there may be nudity)… but this October, around the time of my birthday… I START MY 11th CONTINUOUS YEAR OF RIP… if you got nothing better to do.. check me out !!!

  • Ringo!!! March 10, 2010
No ... not THAT one ... but your mind DOES instinctively go to Ringo Starr at the mere mention of the name, doesn't it???One of the LEAST likely records to make it all the way to #1 in 1964 has got to be "Ringo" by Lorne Greene. Amongst all the latest hits from The British Invasion Artists, huge Motown acts and the piercing falsettos of The Be […]

re: MORE ON THE "FIRST BRITS":Last week we did our best to answer the following question from one of our readers:>>>I heard Scott Shannon state the other day on The True Oldies Channel that the Tornadoes' Telstar is the first British song to ever reach no. 1 on the U.S. charts. Could you tell us what British song first charted on Bill […]
