myspace-icons-celebrations11Well another year has come and gone and all is well with me (except I discovered I’m allergic to bees, having been stung twice in a month). I’ve been living in upstate NY for over three years now, and I’m really enjoying it. I’m here with my three dogs, Jack Daniels 5 yrs old, Absolut Diva “Abby” 4 1/2 yrs, and Kissy-Kissy who’s the newest member (and offspring of the first two) at 6 months. My garden didn’t do that well this year, lost 4 dozen tomato plants to blight due to all the rain we got. The grandbaby, Scarlett Rose, is two now and as cute as a button. I go back to RI every three to four months to see her (it’s only a 3 1/2 hour ride). I’ve gotten back into making country craft items and selling them to the locals. Also been doing alot of canning, just put up 40 pints of pickled beets and 24 quarts of applesauce. Will probably sell half of that. Hoping for a mild winter this year. Last year was brutally cold. Looking for more land (as if 95 acres isn’t enough) with ideas to build a summer campground, and winter hunting camp. Other than that nothing else to report

No ... not THAT one ... but your mind DOES instinctively go to Ringo Starr at the mere mention of the name, doesn't it???One of the LEAST likely records to make it all the way to #1 in 1964 has got to be "Ringo" by Lorne Greene. Amongst all the latest hits from The British Invasion Artists, huge Motown acts and the piercing falsettos of The Be […]
