Forgotten Hits Website

After the “Forgotten Hits Newsletter” ran into trouble with certain ISPs that classified it as Spam, Kent has changed the face of Forgotten Hits by starting a blog and a dedicated website. Although he has changed his email provider and he is sending out a reduced newsletter via a gmail account, it looks as though the days of Forgotten Hits as an email is slowly but surely coming to a close.

Ridiculous
Who has never received emails promoting penis enlargement, viagra and the like? Spam is certainly the biggest problem on the Internet these days. At time of writing the spam filter has blocked more than 6.100 spam comments on the Mystery Lyrics Website, so obviously we can understand the caution of the ISPs… However. How on earth they can compare the Forgotten Hits Newsletter with these sites is completely beyond me! It looks to me to be a case of catching the minnows while letting the big fish escape.

To the best of my knowledge, there have as yet been no such complications with Mystery Lyrics. However: Could this only be a matter of time?

You can now have a look at the Forgotten Hits Newsletter at http://forgottenhits60s.blogspot.com/
Also a dedicated website has been set up at http://www.forgottenhits.com
