communityIf you’ve had a look at the Community Page on the Mystery Lyrics Website, then you might have asked yourself the question, “What is this all about? How can I become part of the community? And … why should I become part of the community?”

First things first: The Mystery Lyrics Community has always considered itself to be one big family. So what could be more logical than to give this family a home on the web? You probably will know that the Mystery Lyrics Website has been online for quite a few years now. It’s had its ups-and-downs, but now we are on an up! Hopefully for good. As the Internet develops, so does its possibilities, and things that may have been unimaginable a few years ago, are now standard: Like this community function for example.

About this function: First of all, if you go to the Community Page, you will see a list of the current members of this site. This consists of a photo or a picture representing the person in question, his/her role on the website, a short bio, and a link to his/her website – always assuming of course that the person in question has filled out his/her profile.

If you click on the photo, you will be taken to the profile page of the member. Here you will see more details an a “recent activity” function. under the photo you will see a link to the users photo gallery.

More features are planned for the future like private messaging and commenting on the users wall…

What else can be done on the Mystery Lyrics Website?

Well, you may know, or maybe not, that there is an ecard center on this page, allowing you to send free cards to your friends on their birthdays. Of course you know when a player has a birthday, as all birthdays are announced on this page, with bio if submitted to Debi.

A discussion forum could be installed, but only if you want it :)

No ... not THAT one ... but your mind DOES instinctively go to Ringo Starr at the mere mention of the name, doesn't it???One of the LEAST likely records to make it all the way to #1 in 1964 has got to be "Ringo" by Lorne Greene. Amongst all the latest hits from The British Invasion Artists, huge Motown acts and the piercing falsettos of The Be […]

re: MORE ON THE "FIRST BRITS":Last week we did our best to answer the following question from one of our readers:>>>I heard Scott Shannon state the other day on The True Oldies Channel that the Tornadoes' Telstar is the first British song to ever reach no. 1 on the U.S. charts. Could you tell us what British song first charted on Bill […]
