So, that last one certainly caught your imagination….

4 Points go to: Dan, Trishabug, Alan Novich, rettaric, Clete6, Trish and Todd, Spnnrn

These fine people knew that the clip was performed by The Sensational Alex Harvey Band.

2 Points go to: Renfield, Mike (mscho), Debi, Mark, Spudpar, Mike (daddyo), ladylion & TOM L

They knew that the original was sung by Tom Jones and the song was of course Delilah.

So, I enjoyed that so much that I’m going to do another one, only this time I think it may be a little more difficult (being the optimist that I am of course lol)

Over to todays song - a legendary song, made famous by a legendary band, sung today by another legendary band… but who are they all? I’m sure you will find out …

  1. Who is singing the actual clip (2 points)
  2. Who made this song famous (1 point)
  3. The title of the song (1 point)

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

(BTW - I seem to be having certain problems with the player. Its probably my computer gone wonky again, but if you hear nothing, just let me know…cheers)

Ok, the clip sounds like it’s The Staple Singers with Mavis on vocals, the song is Definitely We Can Work It Out and the original version is by those four Liverpudlians, The Bait-uhlls aka The Beatles.
