The Most Scandalous Songs of all Time
RTL Television (and I will be eternally indebted to them for giving me something to write about) has defined the most scandalous songs of all time
Examples?
Eminem: His song “Without Me” (2002) insulted just about every minority there is - as though he were a normal person himself …
George Harrison: “My Sweet Lord” was judged to have been stolen
Falco: Jeanny (Part One) Although this song was in German (was there an english version?), this song, about the abduction of a teenage girl as seen through the eyes of the psychopathic kidnapper, is full of merit, but was banned by most German Radio and TV stations. Headlines in the press were “Was Jeanny Raped?”. To the best of my knowledge, the is internationally known, and is certainly in my eyes Falcos finest hour!
Madonna: Like A Prayer was judged by the catholic church to be Blasphemy, as was Monty Python’s “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life (they ran riot against The Life of Brian…)
Frank Zappa’s “Bobby Brown” was just too much for the American public, and the Rolling Stones got all huffed up as the German CDU party used their song “Angie” as the theme tune of Chancellor Angela Merkel
Now its up to you to vote for the scandal song you personally like best… Please dont vote for the most scandalous song… Eminem (going to a quiet corner to throw up) would win hands down - as he in fact did on RTL. This way he has no chance I hope

BTW, there is one song that I used to listen to (not openly though) when I was a teenager that would fit in this list… the one and only Judge Dread and “Big Six”
So, what do you think? Which song not on the list do you think should be there…

1. Lou Christie - Lightning Strikes, in which some idiot insists his girl stay pure but not mind while he bangs everything in sight.
2. Dusty Springfield - Wishing and Hoping, which tells women to supress whatever they really feel and just do everything to please a man to trap him. If that’s not bad enough, it leaves the impression that trapping is all important, and you can do what you want after you’ve snared him.
I could go on, but I won’t
@Hil,
you know Hil, I used to love Dusty Springfield. It quite upset me when I found out that she was a cocaine snorting lesbian….
Another song that springs to mind is “Lola” from The Kinks
