The New Mystery Lyrics

Unfortunately I am having some problems with the SQL-database that carries the information for Mystery Lyrics. You may already have noticed that certain features, e.g. The Email Forms (for signing up to play Mystery Lyrics) arent working any more.

As Wordpress develops as a CMS, the system requirements also change. Up till now we have been OK on a SQL4 database, but in view of the problems with the site, and looking forward to the future, it is now time to update to SQL5. Unfortunately it isnt as easy as it sounds, this process is going to take a few days at least - a process you as reader wont notice. The website will “work” as usual up to the date when I change over to the new database.

However it does give us an opportunity to look at things, and make any changes to the look and feel, the features, or the content of the website. I will be pruning some of the older posts that are no longer interesting, but I may be also looking into introducing new features.
